R. Scott Hogan, J.D.

Scott graduated in 1995 from Jesuit High School in New Orleans. He then attended Samford University in Birmingham, AL receiving a bachelor of arts/science in business management. Following his undergraduate studies, he attended Loyola University school of law in New Orleans, wherein he attained his Juris doctorate with honors, Magna Cum Laude in 2005. He was then admitted to the Louisiana Bar in the fall of 2005. Scott went on to practice law in the commercial litigation section of a downtown New Orleans law firm with a specific concentration on insurance related matters. In 2009 Scott began his career in the insurance industry taking his insurance expertise to a Metairie LA agency. He has spent the past four years working as a producer, wherein he has developed new business relationships and aided in finding a wide range of insurance solutions of varying complexities and needs for his clients. Scott is well versed in complex marine and construction risks, commercial property risks, and personal and family asset protection. In his spare time Scott gives back to the greater New Orleans community as a member of the Greater New Orleans sports foundation and he also enjoys spending time with his family. Scott and his wife Stephanie have one son, Connor, and reside in Metairie.
