About Financial Assurance:
Financial Assurance, LLC, has been providing insurance in Southeastern Louisiana since 1955. We have formerly been known as Leaman & Reynolds and as Oxford Insurance Agency. Despite these changes, ownership has always been within the Fruchtnicht family. We were there for our customers after Hurricane Betsy in 1965 and after Hurricane Andrew in 1992. We have always recovered and continue to extend the quality of service you have come to expect from Financial Assurance.
Our offices are constantly being updated so that we have the latest technology and skills to meet your insurance needs quickly and accurately.
After August 29th, 2005, our lives were all changed dramatically. Our Metairie office on Kingman Street suffered flood damage from Hurricane Katrina, so much that our first floor was uninhabitable. Many of our account executives had been flung to Florida, Texas, and western Louisiana. When we returned to our homes, we found the same ruin, dismay, and hardship that our customers found. We had trouble getting in touch with our family and friends, getting our children care until their schools reopened, finding contractors, receiving our mail in a timely manner, getting in touch with our doctors, and doing just about anything that we normally took for granted. The storm was just as personal for us as it was for our customers and that is the difference between Financial Assurance and non-local insurance providers.
